One hundred novice monks received a pack of books including an English–Sinhala dictionary at a ceremony held at Ananda College, Colombo to mark the conclusion of 2,600th Sambuddhatva Jayanthiya. Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena and Principal L M D Dharmasena were present.
