Visharadha Sunil Edirisinghe is a highly respected, veteran and a laureate vocalist representing the classical music traditions in Sri Lanka. “Sandakadapahana” musical concert is a milestone in the life of this exceptional musician. The concert consists of 23 captivating Sinhala songs that will entrance the audience.

The Old Anandians’ Group of 99 selected this soothing musical experience as a fundraiser for the welfare fund of the group. Our main objective is to provide purified drinking water to the “Eliya Divulwewa” village located near Eppawala in the North-Central Province. We are utilising technical expertise of our own engineers to develop this filtering system.

Today, there are communities in the remote parts of the country where they travel 30-40Km to buy drinking water at a cost of Rs. 1.50 per litre. Our goal is to provide an example where we can cost effectively provide a sustainable solution to this problem where we can duplicate the model to facilitate many more villages in the future.
