The beginning of the new year will mark a new era on the history of Ananda College. Construction of the new “Sathmahala” seven-storey building will begin with the foundation stone laying ceremony to be held on the 1st of January 2015. The ceremony will take place in the morning of the first day of the new year and the foundation stone will be placed around 11am in the morning.

Hon. Minister of Education Mr. Bandula Gunawardane and Secretary Defence and Urban Development Mr. Gotabaya Rajapaksa will participate for this event with the incumbent principal of Ananda College Mr. Kithsiri Liyanagamage and the president of the OBA Mr. Lalith Senanayake.

OBA of Ananda College would like to invite the Old Anandians join them on the 1st of January for this event.
